Is it possible to keep the layout like it is for the new 2.2 version but have deck scroll and tempo change like the old style platters? I really liked these functions when DJ'ing.. And I am stupid when it comes to MIDI. ahha

Yes this is possible, but you need to do the mod yourself.

You can check out the controler mapping section of the forum to see if anyone has done a mod on the file to act how you want it to do. Otherwise you could make it for yourself and release it in there
