VCI-100 stuck in boot mode

Hi. I just flashed my vci-100 to the 1.4 firmware using the djtechtools kit and a serial-serial cable. The flash went ok; I reassembled everything correctly, properly affixed the screws and paper backing, and reattached the harness. But now the VCI does not turn on; only the power button lights up, and it's not detected over usb. I've tried re-flashing three times. Any suggestions?
