Default A question for Mr. Jimbrowski...

Hey there Mr. Jimbrowski, i just wanna ask you a few regarding sandblasting the technics 1200 platter.
Did u do a regular sandblast of the platter at the shop with regular pressure? Did sandblasting do any noticable damage to the platter or the strobe dots? In the first project i did i was so sceptic about it so i didnt have the guts to do it since i heard that it may damage the strobe dots and they would fall off after sandblasting the platter. so i see u did sandblast yours with no permanent damage to it, so i just wanna make sure if it is safe to do it cuz i got a new project I wanna do, and i wanna sandblast all the parts that are for painting... so please get back to me if it is 100% safe to sandblast the platter before painting.. Thanx a bunch bro and nice work by the way... here is a few pics of my first project i did... Take care and cheerz frum Serbia:-))
    peace
