Default Drum & Bass (Clown Step ????)

    Hi All,

I really like drum and bass but never really follow it to much. I believe the style i like some call clown step. Is that right ?

Its the really fun stuff that really makes you jump and smile when it drops. I can kind of see the clown thing meaning something as its the more party edge stuff compared the seep dark stuff.

Anyway my question is can anyone reccomend me some artists and labels for this style.

    Many thanks
    Gav

I think you mean "JUMP UP"

Very old style D&B heavy bass, wobbly and made to make you Jump about like a nut job.

Real simple heavy wobbly basslines. About 3 or 4 notes in a whole tune.

Thats the stuff ... many thanks all i will checkout some of them artists.

Yes Karlos .. Jumping round like a nut job to this stuff is great !!

I'm a techno fan myself but love listening to a bit of D&B on a club system. The great thing is you tend to get it in second rooms at a few techno nights i go to Atomic Jam for one

EDIT > I love alot of Ed Rush & Optical stuff
