    Most people really have no idea of the impact The Beastie Boys had on hip hop. "Licensed to Ill" was the first record to have used samples in the way they did at that time. "Paul's Boutique" is considered among every major hip hop producer and artist to be genius and is the most underrated hip hop record ever. They couldn't even make it today because they used so many samples that it would cost too much. I am glad to say that I saw The Beastie Boys and Run DMC together in their heyday in 1987.
