It's vBulletin 4, a very common standard software solution for forums. But that's beside the point![]()
well thats the problem of anouncing "vapourware". For me, I've already bought for myself and for my school ... so no CMD's at all for me.
I've been a berry user and fan for almost a decade, but this product launch is comical .... waiting and waiting for a release date that never seems to come.![]()

And if they hadn't announced it you wouldn't have bought whatever stuff you bought instead? Great logic.
Personally i have NOT bought stuff because of the early announcement.
What ? Your second sentence doesn't even make sense. You can't BUY the CMD's, they don't exist yet, hence "vapourware".
I had spoken to Berry's German team about kitting out an entire school shortly after the announcement, they couldn't give me a release date. On to the American team who informed the world it would be very soon, that was almost a year ago ..and still we have no products to even test.
Is a business supposed to wait around for a year for a product that may or may not actually exist.
When the DDM4K was announced I had one on my desk in a very short time, I even had them customise it (before the green LEDS came out, they replaced mine with orange and green). I've still got two in the studio and love them.

No, I think it does make sense. You said the late release means you've already bought something and thus will not be buying a CMD line. He said that that would have happened anyway regardless of whether or not they showed it off so early so they haven't lost anything.

not at all.
If they were released in the same time frame as their other products have done in the last 10-15 years, they would be on every desk in my school .... but we went with Denon SC's, launchpads, and other mix and match kit ...including crappy Numark, Citronic and Akiama.
They have in fact "lost" a sale of 10 of everything ! Thats just to me, we had to open, so we had to go elsewhere.

That's what i meant
Also, that i haven't bought anything yet (ie mixtrack or similar) is because of their early announcement. The CMD that you call vapourware even though you've seen them on NAMM video, you've seen the updated pictures, the designer is active in this thread even explaining what's holding up the release .. The CMD's are what i wan't. There's no other product on the market to replace them. That's why i haven't bought anything. I hope the logic here is hard to misunderstand.
