personally i'm really pleased that they're going to have rubber buttons. ofc it depends on the quality of them - but they're not going to switch from hard plastic to crap rubber ones - seeing as they're making the change to improve them.

i am assuming ofc they won't be crap rubber ones like on my old/cheap hercules mk2

Who on earth is responsible for the "change to Rubber" button decision...
    That would be me.

Rubber buttons are like automatic latency.
Every MPC style product ever made would disagree with you. Along with the majority of DJ products made after the Technics 1200.

Its literally impossible to get any rapid button presses with any accuracy when using rubber buttons, PERIOD.
Abraham Orellana and Jeremy Ellis might take issue with that statement. I think it's clear that you have no idea what you're talking about, but I'm sure your explanation of WHY you believe this would be entertaining to hear.

At this point, you don't even have any idea about what KIND of rubber buttons CMD will have, so I think it might be a little premature to judge the performance of something you've never actually touched before.

Saw one video from Musikmesse 2012 and have noticed slightly issue with deck B button dropping in.

Can we expect this to be fixed with new rubberized buttons?

As synthet1c said, these were prototypes made with a special type of light reactive plastic. Its pretty brittle, and not at all what anyone would make production product from.

All I can say, is I've been patiently bonerized for the CMD line since they caught the wind at NAMM. I can't wait to replace my lame old Numark MixTrack.
