    Default Hardstyle Party Animals

So I'm heading down to a pretty big event tonight in MA, that I'm quite excited for. http://www.facebook.com/events/386386768042118/ is the event, but a couple local crews getting together with a HUGE line-up.

So what did I do to share my excitement? Sat down and threw some tracks together for enjoyment and to help pump myself up.

Still not quite where I want to be technically, but hot damn is it so satisfying to spin these tunes

So I absolutely love Hardstyle. It gets me pumped, and today I really want to be pumped.

Hope you get as pumped as I do while listening to this.

it was dope. I keep on forgetting how much hardstyle has changed, props on the DJ Isaac tracks. Some mixes felt a little rushed, lets the songs play, and dont rush the mix. Overall its muy bueno.

    Excellent man, thanks

I'll admit, especially when mixing at home by myself, I get fidgety and want to speed mix. Slowing things down and letting tracks play out is a constant battle, but one I'm focused on. It's something I've noted in my own mixing, and when going over mixes with my buddies (as it takes about an hour to get anywhere from here, perfect for a mix to and from a show for each of us) it's something we've remarked upon. It's so difficult to just let stuff play out sometimes :P

And yeah, DJ Isaac = <3. As opposed to many of the hardstyle followers from awhile back, I consider myself relatively new to the genre. And I absolutely love it, new and old. It's tough discussing things with folks who have been following it for years, because the beginnings of the genre are so different from where it is now. But I've been over that with Dubstep I suppose, and it's the same song and dance. Love this stuff, and it's amazing how BIG it's popping off around here right now (New England).
