    Default Fake HDJ 1000's

Hey I am looking on ebay for a new pair of headphones, I'm primarily looking for hdj 1000's and there is a lot available that just seems way too low to be true. Has anyone on here bought a pair off of ebay? Also how would I be able to tell if they are fakes?

Why HDJ1000's? Far more better headphones, plus they are notorious for falling apart. If you do decide to get a pair, look for a reputable dealer who's certified and hopefully in your country as well.

Don't buy pioneer (or sony) headphones on ebay- tons of fakes.

    Besides, I wouldn't pay for real hdj-1000s.

    ^ I figured that

I was looking at them because I figured I would be able to find a pair for around 150 but the more I looked the less comfortable I was ordering them

What?!? $150? You can get them new for $130-$140! I wouldn't pay anymore than $80 for them now a days, such a sub standard pair of headphones compared to everything else that's out there today

I've broke everything else, the only pair I can get to last > 6 months are the pioneers. I snap the connector all the time

You can get much better headphones for around $150 and HDJ-1000s are not worth $150. If you like over-ear then Xone: XD-53s are around that price new and are way more durable and sound a lot better although the XD2-53s are coming out soon and have a replaceable cord.

When you say you snap the connectors you mean the audio cable connector? get something with a replaceable cord.

    Thanks I'll check them out

How durable are they, I'm looking at that swivel and I just see myself breaking it within a month or two.
