Default How to apply VST effect to Traktor (without Ableton) in Windows?

    Hey guys,

I know Traktor doesn't support VSTs, so the only way is to route its audio to another app. that supports it. I can't use Live because I don't have a powerful laptop so I would like to use a lighter VST host for Windows.

Does anybody know what can I use and which is the proper way to route the audio to it?

I don't have a mixer. I mix internally in Traktor using a Numark DJ|IO and Total Control.

    Thank you!

    UPDATE
Ok, I found that using Jack Audio Connection Kit for Windows is possible
    http://jackaudio.org/jack_on_windows

And also found this lite host: http://www.tobybear.de/p_minihost.html

I was able to route everything perfect. I load Ozone 5 into minihost and I receive the input when playing a song in Traktor.

The problem is that the output sound is all messed up... I can't even recognize the song...

This have to be something to do with Jack setup. There are tons of options there which I have no idea.

Anyone had been able to use Jack on Windows successfuly? Can you share your experience?

Reaper has always been pretty lightweight, I'm not sure how routing would work, you'd have to ask one of the windows experts around here.
