Default Gaming Mouses: Can they be used as midi controllers?

Is it possible to use a gaming mouse with macro buttons and have them be used as midi controllers? ex: using a razer naga's macro buttons on the side of the mouse have the insta grat midi fighter mapping? curious because i have a razer orochi gaming mouse at the moment and while it is an amazing mouse and does its job phenominally, i wanted to know if it could be used even further in my DJ set-up other than a clicker :P

Yes, you need a HID-MIDI converter.
