Default Using 2 VCI's with Traktor

Has anybody experimented with using two VCI's on Traktor?

I was trying to get the 4 deck TKS working last night with 2 VCI's but had no luck. At one point they both controlled the same function even though 4-deck TKS was loaded, then after that only one would work at any one time.
I tried with them running 1.2 & 1.3 (SE) firmware but had no luck with either.

Ultimately I want to had 2 VCI's controlling 4 - decks using the SE firmware in combination with BOMEs to provide crazy levels of control for our sets. Though I have a feeling this is going to end up with running the 4 channels into abelton to take full advantage of two pairs of hands for effects.

Putting them both on a different (MIDI hardware)channel and different traktor addressing did not change anything?
