I can't get Live 7/OSX 10.5.5 to recognize midi controllers

I don't know what is going on but I can't get Live 7 or my Macbook/OSX 10.5.5 to recognize my Oxygen 8. When I was using a Presonus Firebox and VCI-100 with Traktor both units were recognized with no problems. I'm now trying to use Live 7 on the same Macbook and I can't get the Oxygen 8 or any other midi controller kb to show up.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

If you are using a pirated copy, that's most likely your problem. There are bugs with the crack.


If not, get an app like MIDI monitor and make sure the oxygen 8 is working with OSX at all. Maybe try mapping the oxygen 8 to something in Traktor to isolate the problem (that it doesn't work in Live, and only Live.) Double check the midi options, and otherwise reinstall.
