Default My first deep house track- looking for some criticism jasonbay style

Bare in mind I dont have monitors yet, and Im not even sure if its deep house.

Started this last night and since its my first time producing deep Im not sure what to correct, what to add and what to takeaway.

Be as harsh as is necessary

It's "Deep House", that's for sure. Won't comment on the mix down because you said you don't even have any monitors. But the arrangement could use some work and the "brass" lead is a little dry and harsh as well. Figure out those two at the moment and you'll be good for now.

I plan on picking up some krks in 2 weeks time so that shouldnt be a problem then, will have a crack on sorting the lead out now, thanks for the pointers!

Pass on the KRKs, they colour the sound too much. Look at the Yamaha HS50/80's. A little cheaper than KRKs but far more accurate. You'll get much better sounding tracks off of them.

Wouldnt want to start two threads, any more pointers would be nice though
