I think the concept is great, but i doubt i would ever purchase anything other than an ipad if i wanted a touchscreen controller. After using the Lemur (and falling in love with SOME things about it) there is a lot of things that I don't like about touch screens.. A mis touch can bring your set to entire hault, any kind of knob functions are not realistic, plus i sweat and , but i do enjoy the ability to customize what i want, XY functions also... With that being said I think touchscreen controlers/apps will be popping up everwhere, but to fully replace physical controls (faders, knobs, buttons, platters, ect.) i just dont think it will happen. I think iPads will be the closest thing to a "club standard" touchscreen controller that we will see in the near future.

yeah I'm serious... touch will never be as good as tactile in term of control... the other big negative is you always have to look at the screen to use it as you can't feel around the surface to know where you are... it's also douchey enough to be in a britney spears video clip
