    Default Help - ddj-t1 or s1???

Hi guys ive been reading a lot of reviews and watching a lot of videos on the pioneer ddj-t1 and s1.. Im looking a piece of equipment that is best suited for a mobile dj/ small club dj. I have enough funds to buy either. My question is has anyone used either in a club environment and why is the s1 more expensive.. Cheers

The question you need to figure out first is which software do you plan to use. Traktor and Serato both have great pros and cons and once that gets sorted out, picking between controllers will be your next challenge. Here is an article that can (hopefully) help you decide.

The king of traktor controllers is the traktor s4 and vci 400 the build quality on both beats the t-1 and s-1 by a long shot. also the t-1 and s-1 are huge in size compared to the s4 and vci 400. but its all down to personal opinion so go to your local dj store and play around with them and you will find your favorite.

If you want a controller that doesn't really work, relative to it's competition, get a T1.

If you want a controller that's virtually unmatched in integration and usability, get an S1

Both of them have a relativey large footprint though, quite spacious, but wide.
