Shit sounds way over compressed, and there's no groove at all. I see what you're trying to but you're way off the mark on this one

Really? Are you being serious? Cuz I never used any compressors at all so I assume what you are referring to is the plugin which I used on the kicks and bass only. The only other effects I used were a reverb and limiter and a utiity and delay.... And as for there being no groove you have no idea what you are talking about. Thanks for the feedback but serious replies only please. I have no time for nonsense

Yes, I am being serious. If you over compress the kick and bass, you might as well have over compressed the the entire track. It's very square groove, no push or pulls, nor drag or grind. It's just what it is, the track doesn't really do anything.

And that's the most honest and serious reply you're going to get from this board besides "Cool mix track bro, you should go check out my soundcloud page if you have chance as well".

Sounds like there might be a little too much Fattener going on with the kick, and its making it sound distorted instead of a crisp thump. I use it as well, but I've found a tiny bit goes a long way, since it's a powerful effect. With some instruments, it just doesn't jive well at all. Lowering the gain control on the plugin helps calm it down enough to make it usable sometimes.

Well dude I used it the way Dada Life suggested on the drum and bass bus and i've listen to your soundcloud page a bit and i'm going to take there advice over your personal musical opinion.

might sound better if your snare was snappier by the way. Not all advice refers to all drums samples
