Henry Rollins is such a self-aggrandizing douche, I'm almost not surprised that in this clip (which is over a decade old, to be fair) he seems to have no idea whatsoever that he's saying the exact same shit people said about punk rock (not to mention every other form of music that was popular with young people at one time). But I do love his radio show on KCRW; he's got encyclopedic knowledge of a lot of really diverse styles of music. (Though apparently not EDM, heh).
