Default can anyone tell me about this genre of house music?

Hey all, i'm a hip hop junkie but have recently been getting more into some house stuff. in the past i've been kind of confused by the rigidity/minimalism of most house music but i'm finding there are certain tracks that really appeal to me. i'd love to find more stuff like these:

    Soho808 - Get Up Disco

Smoothie ft. Tara Busch - 2 People (DCUP remix)

I am really enamored by the soft vocals and the filtery sounds that are explored. is this uk bass? or is it disco? i'd really appreciate being pointed in the right direction! Cheers.

    Nu Disco?

It's not really house, it's too slow for that.

Any Nu funk or Nu disco is like that. But its worth it. Nothing better then the grooviest of grooves.
