i had the same problem. i was not able to solve it. i use vdj, support told me x-axis is sending cc-message and y-axis is sending pitchbend-message or some like that. therefor i can use up/down as a crossfader but not left/right because it always jumps back in the middle. I dont know so much about mapping, thats why i gave up on this. maybe someone who knows more can help better. I think its also possible to change the messages its sending with the korg-editor.
btw, what prog are you using? traktor i guess,heh?

u need to change it inside the korg editor from pitch and mod to sending certain commands
