This is the setup we use for mobile. Left deck has a DJ Henray modified straight tonearm. I like it and will eventually do the right deck.

Sold the DJM-900 and replaced with a Rane 64. Retired the gold 1200s for now. MK5s and PLX-1000s in rotation.

How are you finding the Yammy's? I've had my eye on some for a while.
    Live rig: Denon Prime (5000M's)
Retired: Denon x1700, Denon SC3900's, Traktor, Technics SL1200's, my vinyl
Wish list: Some Roland Aira stuff.

Yamaha makes great powered speakers. Can't go wrong with the 7 year warranty. The DXR has better build quality and looks more appropriate for events such as weddings and places such as hotels. Covers are suggested since they do scratch easily. The DBR sounds almost the same but has a more industrial appearance. Very tough construction. I don't bother with covers. It works great as a booth speaker with two XLR inputs in the mixer section. If you don't need the tilt option the DXR offers and don't need picturesque looking speakers, the DBR is a great value.

Got the Pioneer DJM-S9 awhile back in the gear rotation. Finally got a pic of the PLX1000s.
