A fun way to geek out about music and help each other find new tracks...

Yes I know that is a long thread topic.

Ok so here's something that I think could be kind of a cool idea:

Pandora.com claims to base it's music recommendations of a music genome... trying to understand music at a root level and then recommend a next song that somehow is connected to the first.

Well it seems to me that that is pretty much what DJing is, so... lets start a human based "pandora" music recommendation list (there's gotta be a better way of saying that.)

I'm just gonna say that I've been really digging on these two songs recently:

and I'm hoping that some of you will go "Damn if you love that song you gotta check this song out!" Then the list just grows out in a web from there as more people add their suggestions to either the original songs or the new songs that have been mentioned. Another way to think about it would be "If I was playing a set, what song would I play next after either of those songs?"

It seems like it could be fun, and we all might discover some really fun new music that we wouldn't find if we just talked about genres.
