    Default HELP NEEDED! Opinions..

hey guys need help ... i have 2 12 inch speakers and a 700w amplifier. However i feel they aren't loud enough as people have sometimes asked me to turn up the music although it is already playing at its loudest according to the amp.. if ye know what i would need would it be new speakers or a new amp or even both the help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

What's the rating for your 12"s? Hard to say without knowing but if your speakers and amp aren't matched properly then you won't optimise your PA. I would also consider buying a Powered sub for extra grunt.

Yeah sounds like you've got no overhead in your system. Adding one or 2 subs and running the 12s as tops via an internal or external crossover should give you plenty more in the tank.

Any chance you could send me a link with the spec of your amp and speakers? Amp pic not working.

No overhead means running at max which is never a good idea with a PA. There needs to be some headroom to play with.

Take a look at any powered subs DB, RCF, JBL, QSC, FBT, Opera etc. They will cost you but will be a worthwile addition. Also consider the aforementioned companies for powered 12 speakers too.

Are you sure your speakers are wired in phase? 700 watts seems quite ample depending on the space you're trying to fill.

Let's be honest. This looks like a cheap little setup that probably isn't representing its output accurately. I can barely find any info at all about it and I looked at it on 5 different sites.

I have some recommended reading for you here -

    http://www.crownaudio.com/how_much_power.htm

It's going to be difficult for us to help you because you have such an unknown product as well as a limited understanding of what it all means...
