Question How to put on a VCI-100 Overlay

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB8iIktlnbg

    Things you will need:
    1x Phillips head screw-driver
    1x VCI-100 Overlay
1x Stanley knife or razor blade.

Optionally you may wish to buy black knobs and faders to go with the overlay if you dont already have a black VCI-100, these are availible in the web store.

I've got the new mapping overlay, can I stick it on top of my old one? or do you recommend I remove this and then apply the new one?

never done it, but read several posts that there's no problem putting one overlay over the other.. i guess there some kind of different feeling on the small black knobs, but it will work.
there's a thread discussing how to remove the old overlay. they say that brute force and heating up the old one a bit should do the trick..

    Hi,

Just updating you, I started to take the old overlay off, but it was really tough i sliced off a strip from one side then decided to just go ahead and stick the new overlay on top of the old one.

Fits & looks fine by doing this, and saves you having to tear off the old one.

Now I've just got to get used to this new mapping before my next gig

I put the V3 overlay on my old v2 and I was able to do that without any problem.
I followed the above video step-by-step
