Cue-Point Juggling -> cues don't fire!
Now that I've found out about these amazing different midi-pages, i want to use more than just one.
I want to use one for beat-juggling.
Therefore I created some Jump Cue-List 1 (2,3,4) events, but now I'd rather want them to be fired as soon as I press them (preferably play them as long as I push the button (CUE/||).
How to achieve this?
EDIT: well..when I press play and then juggle it works but I want to mainly use the juggling while mixing another track. Therefore it's not pretty handy if the track is running all the time. So I'm still looking for a way to Direct-Play samples via the various buttons :/

I found the answer myself. I had to add "cue/pause" for each button a second time but now it sounds a bit chopped when firing them.
Any suggestions or general tips?

Well, just jump between using Cue/Pause and Cue/Play. what kind of controller are you using?

For the Cue pause to work properly the button needs to be sending out two midi messages, one for when its pressed down and one for when its released. Does your midi controller do this ? Use Midi-OX and check out the midi log for this information.

<3 Vestax VCI-100 <3
Does that natively support that?
I thought a hold-type message for CUE/PLAY or CUE/PAUSE would do the trick
Also ean wanted to release a BOME-file for Windows during the next weeks, but nothing so far :/

The VCI-100 should work easily for this
You want 2 midi messages assigned to the button
1) Jump Cue - list 1 - Trigger
2) Deck Cue/Pause - Hold
