Default New Crane Stand!? - Non-Adjustable

    Anyone use/seen this guy?

Just wondering how it compares to the fully adjustable version? This one has a set folded position by the looks of it. Could be a good thing

It's foldable, looks cheaper than the original though without the clamps. I'm guessing it folds out like an uberstand to a set position.

I think I prefer my old classic Crane stand. It was expensive, but it's solid and works great. I did get the sub tray with mine, but I never use the thing lol....

Almost everything is made/assembled in china these days so it makes sense if they are aiming for mass production now.

Well, they are charging half the price for this one and don't offer a lifetime warranty like with the original (now called Pro). You can still get the old one if you want to play it safe.

I'm guessing it's steel based, aluminum drives costs up pretty fast. They have a name to live up to so I don't think they are stupid enough to throw away it so easily.

Things made in China aren't necessarily low quality. Don't judge a product by it's origin.
