Yeah their pricing is a bit absurd for mp3 files. That should be the price of lossless imho
Still cheaper than the vinyl days.
And with vinyl you just spent $12 for four songs and three of them suck. And after playing it out enough it gets worn out or some drunk chick scratches it and you've got to buy it again.
Wait three months and the same tracks are $1.49 or something similar. Oh the beauty of EDM where releases age within days.
Alot of my vinyl has survived longer than any Hard drive i've had, and outlived even most hard-drive protocols (USB1.1/IDE/SATA/SCSI) - I've only once had a vinyl destroyed beyond playable and that was after a party where the dj spinning after me dropped a hit rock on my last one (sure plenty have deep scratches and scrapes and pretty much worn down to the nub, but still playable). And with vinyl you just spent $12 for four songs and three of them suck. Also with vinyl there was alot more people in the supply chain needed to get paid as well. The producer, distributor, deliver people, printer, cutting house, record shop.
$2.50 does seem crazy high for an MP3 with that taken into consideration.
