As far as I know, it's still not possible to anything that requires realtime low-latency audio on android which is why you don't see major companies releasing Android apps other than very simple apps. It's a technical issue with Android OS itself. It's just not ready for music production tools compared to iOS which is light years ahead for both audio and MIDI support. Aside from the limitations of the OS, Android also suffers from device fragmentation which is a nightmare for any potential developer.
