Bit bigheaded calling your own track "a hit".

Royksopp - 49 Percent (Angello & Ingrosso Remix)
DJ Flex & Sandy W - Love For You (Axwell Remix)

I'm in work at the moment and they are two tracks that just came to mind.

Full intention should have been the original

Oh and to the OP .. Hate the original, hate the mashup even more - do you think you could have clipped it some more ?

Not a remix of an EDM track ...

but when someone mentions a cover that is better than the original I cant help to think of Johnny Cash's version of "Hurt". Trent Reznor of NIN even said that, "Having Johnny Cash, one of the greatest singer-songwriters of all time, want to cover your song, that's something that matters to me. It's not so much what other people think but the honour that this guy felt it was worthy of interpreting."

+1. I'd have to dig for the quote, but I'm pretty sure Trent even said something along the lines of "that song belongs to Johnny now". That song is hauntingly beautiful.
I hear an 8hz sinewave can make a whole room of dubstep producers simultaneously stroke their beards.

Even if they havnt got one.
