Probably samples, but somebody could have been playing I guess.

I would say in the Dahlbäck song it's definitely a synthesizer.
In the second example it's hard to tell but I would guess it might be "real" electric guitars with "real" meaning it's not a synth. Nevertheless, the melody will probably have been constructed with sampled guitar sounds so nobody actually recorded this particular electric guitar melody being played live in the studio.
