    Default Pioneer....why? (Headphones rant)

I've heard from many Pioneer reps that you shouldn't remove the mini-xlr cable for the hdj-2000 unless you need to replace it for wear and tear reasons. Then why the hell is the new official hard case ($40) designed so that you have to take out the cable everytime?

Anyone have any other alternatives for a hardcase for the hdj-2000?
