    Default Replacing VCI-100's LEDs

Was out of action for only 1 month before I noticed that my VCI-100's Effect buttons' LED had gone on vacation, most probably permanently so I mapped them to the Cue ones. Previously, the cues for Decks A & B in Traktor were mapped to the left and right Effect buttons and Decks C & D mapped to the two Cue buttons.

Does anyone know what's the value of the little LEDs inside and how much work is needed to replace them on my own? I've opened up the casing a few times and done the arcade button modification myself but didn't take a look at the other bits.

ps. Sorry if this has been discussed before but I've been missing a long time and replacing VCI-100 LEDs didn't turn up in the search.

They're just bog standard 2-pin LEDs, and easy to replace as long as you can solder. You may want to use high brightness LEDs as replacements, since they don't cost a lot more and make the lights more easily visible in bright conditions.

The diodes I bought from Radio Shack are IN4001. There was some discussion about them needing to be 1N4001, but after looking at the data sheets it was determined they were the same.

It's two LED's one green and one orange. The led's are 3.3 volt 3mm, but people report that you can use 5mm LED's on everything except the jog wheel LED's, those need to be 3mm.
