    I DJ at "legit" clubs in NYC. Theres no room for a controller. Which club are you spinning at?

    If you really want to use a controller at a club then get the NI X1. I see them everywhere I go, from bigger DJs to the local residents. They're small and easy to set up, oh and they're cheap (relatively) too.

    If I would fly across the country or overseas I would most likely not take any big gear with me, just plain dangerous in case something break down. For local city gigs, that would be fine, S4s and whatever. If you know what you are doing and show up in time as well as have a plan B (like using the CDJs) then the club owner is happy.
