Thread: USB Sound Card

    Default USB Sound Card

I'm up and starting. I got a Numark Mixtrack and a Numark DJ2GO. I'm looking for a cheap soundcard that will let me cue my tracks and have a main output.

I'm looking at the Behringer UCA222 and the ikey iconnex.

Would those cards have a quality sound and not have a problem with latency?

    Anybody use them with success?

    Thanks for your help..

Behringer UCA222 is 1-in/1-out (stereo). You'll want a card that is 2-out (stereo).

    A2 is a good bet.

Ok. I'm looking at the NI Audio 2 but I'm also looking at a Maya 44USB. Any info on the Maya?

I used to use the Maya 44 with Traktor and it was ok. The only problem I had was if you're using all the inputs and outputs at the same time the sound quality isn't the best. Otherwise if you just want it for cueing and a main output, it will do the job!
