Hello, my CDJ just got a new firmware update released, how do I go about applying it since I use it independent from my computer? I know this is a simple question but my CDJ knowledge is limited since I'm new to them. Thanks

If you don't have haters, you're not doing it right

did you figure it out? I just got mine today and had to do it myself.. no help on the gemini site.
Put the update on a disc or usb. Turn on the CDJ, insert the media you've put the update on.
If its USB (what I did) then hit the USB button on the top right, it will find the update automatically. Select the update with the scroll wheel, all set.
Same with CD. Select CD, etc

I tried.. but no dice for me. maybe I did it wrong. It was easy enough for me to use the USB drive so I didn't mind too much. I honestly thought the USB was just for MIDI, but I'm probably wrong.

Contact Gemini for support. I would guess you have to put on a USB stick, plug the USB stick into the player, then turn it on..may need to navigate the menu to find the upgrade...but contact Gemini tech support for help.

Put the update in the main folder of a USB stick. place it in the CDJ. Enter USB mode and then follow the instructions on screen. If your unit doesn't see the update make sure the file is a .gci file type.
Bumping an old thread so sorry about this but I have bought x2 Gemini CDJ 650's, They both come with the latest 4.4 firmware, but I have just bought a 3rd deck second hand on eBay and it is on the 4.3 firmware, I have tried to update it via the updater on the Gemini site but it just hangs. Has anyone got the 4.4 update on their computer that they can send over to me so I can do it via a USB stick (Gemini have taken the link down on the site for some reason)
Thanks in advance if anyone could help
