Default Some places/sites for legit samples?

Hey, I'm in need of some good samples suited for dance (house, tech etc) (mostly drums/percussion)
Google finds a whole list of stuff and I'm kind of in over my head here and digging through the crap is going to take ages, so do any of you know some gems?

You can't avoid the "sorting through the crap" - that's what DJ'ing boils down to.

It's YOUR interpretation of what's "crap" that will make or break you as a DJ. DJ'ing is 90% work, and 10% play. If you're lucky.
    Performance: 2xTechnics 1200MK2, DJM 850, Dicers, Zomo MC-1000, Sony MDR-v700, Sony VAIO
Production: Ableton Live 8 and a mouse, MOTU Ultralite, Sennheiser HD400, Sony VAIO

    This.

Try loopmasters and sounds to sample.

I ment more along the lines of sound quality Sure a "crappy" sample is subjective. Was just looking for a push in the right direction...

Sound quality can be directly related to free vs paid. That said not all paid are going to be good and not all free are going to be bad. Try this thread for some legit free sample packs. It's an old thread so they may not all work anymore.

    yo,
regardless of quality, you can always fix way up onna editor like audacity or cool-edit.i have taken mono samples,re-sampled them in stereo by pasting in l-r channels and then running a few filters to clean/compress the sound to its usable form.even shit off tape.Patch is right though.if you use pre bought or free sample packs, others use them too and makes the work 'ordinary'.try to be super obscure with your samples,or if you use a common one, mangle it so some kat wont say "yeah,i made 3 songs with that same sample",feel me?.finding crazy rare samples is an art,and is so fucking worth it when you find that never been used sound or phrase that kills everybody when they hear it.
    what?...im making beats and skratching....oh,its you....why hello there...i use:
    vestax turntables,one QFO-vestax 06 mixer with 3 inno-faders
    boss rc-300 loop pedal,p.c laptop-6 gig ram 500 hd
    traktor skratch 2 w/ a-6
    X-1,m-audio axiom 25,pro-tools w/ m-box,a museum of vinyl

MusicRadar has published gigabytes of free samples. I could not find via internet search the definite location where you could access them all, think there's one point. Meanwhile if you do a search you could get access to the various web uploads.

Many are 16-bit but still quite useable for making interesting tracks.
