    Yes you need a separate audio interface in this case. As for mapping APC40 to Traktor, it's doable. I thought we were talking about a controller to be used with *both* Traktor and Ableton Live. In that case you need an audio interface, anyway. Get a $99 NI Audio 2, job done.

    I'm gonna suggest the UC-33e. Because I've got one. And I love it.

    I don't get it? The two controllers you asked about can't be used as all in one's either.

    This is how I had my APC mapped to use in Traktor.
