Default ok, do I need touch sensitive wheels?

I have an BCR and TP+ ableton for FX at the moment and I'm happy with it.

But I want to change the way I work. I want to go more traditional and therefore I want to match manually not with sync. I have worked only a little with vinyl and I never worked with cdJs, but I have the basics. Actually I want to use TP the way you would use a cdj.

There is only one thing... do I need touch sensitive wheels?

I don't scratch or have interest in that (I only play techno/house music)... so is there a real benefit when you don't scratch?

if you want to use tpro like a cdj to beatmatch, you really just need some kind of wheel that will do pitch bend.

And with touch sensitive jogs you can do other stuff beyond scratching, like turning on effects, filters, key lock, and then moving them... But they aren't necessary
    It's the FAQ. Read it.

In traktor pro you can set the buttons to pitch bend. There is a midi guide floating around here somewhere
