The Noobs Guide to Control editor

Before I start, I will say I have looked around and I cannot for the life of me find something simple enough to show me how to work with Native Instruments Control editor to do the most simplest task, which is link my Kore 2 Knobs to parameters in Ableton. Now before you close tab, I have tried the simplest task of assigning different pages to different send pages, but for some odd reason even though it feels like I have done it right, its wrong. Eg I will set up 8 pages for 8 channels, four knobs for four sends, I assign page by page knob by knob, I save, I smile, I go to page 1, I turn knob 1 for send A for channel 1, but then all the send A knobs increase. I am then sad. So I am simply looking to find out what I am doing wrong by being pointed to the Noobs guide to Controller editor.
