Default Difference between the new DJM 700 and the 'old' DJM 800

    Hello,

I'm into buying a mixer who relates best to what is used in most clubs. I understand this moment its the DJM 800.
That said, the 'old' 800 costs second hand about the same price as the new 700. So I was wandering if the futures of the new 700 are in the league of the 'old' 800 and what the differences are, especially what you use while mixing your tracks.

    Thanks!

Both the 700 and 800 are discontinued as far as I remember. But the 700 was a stripped down budget version of the 800, the age of the two aren't really a factor.

Didn't know the DJM 700 was discontinued already.

To compare the two, you only have to look at the pictures of the top and rear of both units. Then it becomes obvious.

Also, the up faders on the DJM 800 are stiffer than the DJM 700's. (Of course these can be easily replaced anyway).

BUT if I were you, I'd save up for a DJM 850.
