Default Allen & Heath xone 42 or 62

Both, the xone 42 and 62, are available for the same price of around $900 at the moment.

The 42 has a more modern layout. The 62 has two extra channels but seems to be dated already.

Which one would you choose for EDM? I don't mind the position of the x-fader on the 62 as I don't scratch.

    The mixer will be for Traktor/ Audio 10/ 2x X1/ 2x F1

where are you located? you can usually find used xone 92s for $700-$800 on ebay which would be better than either. between those two 42 probably.

62 always seemed a bit weird to me

If the price is the same: 62 any day of the week for me.
    6 channels, 4 band EQ's, double filters

If you can afford a 92 it's even better
