Wouldn't that update affect on sales for CDJ900?

The HID protocols are already built-into the player. It's up to Native Instruments to build their protocols in the software to communicate with them. This would not negatively affect NI, who is the one that is required to get this to work. The same thing goes for the 350. As I said, Serato supports all the models so I doubt it has anything to do with selling more or less of one type of player over the other.

I wouldn't think so the 850 with or with out hid is for those that can't realy aford the 900 or 2000. and for thoses that want pro link the 900 is the cheepest. This makes the 900 the entry level for full intergrstion with rekordbox.

P.S. just downladed the Controll manager some minuts ago in it now has the Z2

for s2/4, the macro effects i would think u can add to your effects knobs in group mode,

for me i'll be trying to figure out how to map the flux mode to the button next to the dry/wet knob on my s2 with the macros lined up of the fx knobs

I don't mind any shift-key magic to turn flux on/off or whatever is needed, myself. But it should go in as a default mapping.

"Flux Mode" retains song position during HotCues, Beatjumps, Loops etc.

    Thumbs up!

I have it on good authority that the macro FX and flux will be mappable to whatever you want.

It's not that I can't afford a whopping $250 controller it's that I don't have USB ports left and don't want to add more buttons/pads because I don't need them! I work at GC now so the controller would set me back even less than $250. I'm gonna go in on the NI rep when I see/meet him.
    Powered USB Hub?

I know its a bitch....but what else can you do?

I have the APC80 (2 USB plugs) , Audio 4 (1 USB plug), HHD and whatever else I need all plugged into my hub.

When I perform with my mates band, I have to plug his X-Station into my USB hub too!

Works like a bomb....but LOTS of cables.

    TOO MANY CABLES!!!
