please help

I've been pullling my hair out all week trying to get this goddam thing working. I have a midi fighter classic that is fully updated and in 4 banks mode hooked up to my windows 7 laptop and traktor s2. I've followed the instructions precisely and still I dont get a single effect or response. I can switch between decks on the midi fighter but that's it, none of the other buttons do anything.

Did you install mapping for midifighter?

Yes instant gratification mapping 1.0.3 with Traktor 2.5.1 and I followed the setup instructions perfectly

First make sure your in and out midi ports are set to MF so data can be sent to and out of traktor.

If all of effects are still not working I assume that v 1.0.3 is created for earlier versions of traktor then a 2.5 since FX unit commands are renamed so that way traktor can't read any of commands. Open controller manager and check assignment table, if you got missing commands there it might got to do with outdated version of mapping.
