    Default browser audio recorders for windows?

    i was using freecorder for a long time to capture audio samples from dvds, youtube etc... but now they just "upgraded" to a new version which is solid virus.


    can anyone recommend another option for windows?
    tsp2/ableton live 8/vista7/audio 6/rokit 5/akai apc40/2xtechnics sl1200mk2/

    u can use audacity, just got alter the audio settings to capture fdrom your pc's soundcard. Cant quite remember how to set it up though, its somewhere online though cos i did it before to rip samples from a dvd. Audacity is a free prog and very solid i use it for mastering mixes etc.

    yah im really looking for a pop out browser based recording ad-on such as freecorder used to be.
