Broadcasting (is this taboo here?)

I wanted to know if any of the djs here are into broadcasting their sets live?

I didnt find anything about in while using the SEARCH function so i was wondering if its something just not spoken about here.

Personally i do 1 or 2 live sets a week.
Mainly because i own the radio station but i have found its an awesome way to get your game up.
Its like forcing you to focus while practicing.
I treat it like im playing in front of people just because i know they are listening and just the same as being someplace live
i REALLY dont want to screw up.

Anyone else?

There are a few threads about broadcast and radio shows floating around. Pretty sure the 'self promotion' thread (in the general forum) has a few mentioned. There are also a few members who have their shows in their sigs.

thats strange then.
Ill take a look around in the areas you mentioned but i did do a search for the word
"broadcasting"

A) do you know the basic origin of the screen name you are using as it pertains to hard house music? "backtothefront"

a song from the clubheads i think is their name.

B) i visited that station site some time ago. Noticed the note (like you can miss it) they were going offline?
What happened? and what are you going to do about your show?

No worries

No I was not aware of a track called that, but front to the back and back to the front are generic phrases I've heard in several house tracks and MCs use, but no particular reason I chose it, just a username nothing more than that really

Ref nurave radio, it is continuing and will eventually be re branded, so in terms of djs/shows etc, nothing will be changing. It is very well established along with its listenership. So the intent is to continue but expand and evolve.
