VCI-100 1.3 Firmware UPGRADE!
Yeah so i just received my firmware kit along with my traktor pro outlay
I did everything on the video, and everything went fine, i used a serial to serial cable, and the flash development 4.02 said that it was successful, so i clicked disconnect exit, and then unplug the firmware kit.
After putting the vci-100 altogether, i test it and it still appears to be firmware 1.2. The two jog wheels turn off when i press both vinyl buttons. And when i do the 1.3 firmware test it doesnt work. Clicking the snap button twice doesnt toggle the light.
Now I cant even get the MIDI setup to work in Traktor...
Traktor Pro can detect my VCI-100 PC controller [emulated] but when i click buttons on the controller the MIDI signal light next to the Audio signal doesnt light up....i dont know why Traktor Pro isnt picking up my VCI's midi signals anymore...BOMES MIDI Translator on the other hand can pick it up....weird..
Please help, i need my VCI to be working by Saturday, with 1.2 or 1.3
your help will be greatly appreciated.
If i cant figure this out by wednesday is anyone in the san fernando valley/Los Angeles area, willing to help me. I really need to fix this so i can DJ for my sister's 18th birthday party on saturday
