Default Should I Get A Midi Fighter?

Thinking of getting a Midi Fighter and wanted to know what people think of the product, is the mapping easy, any issues with the unit not working, glithes, does it only work with traktor ect. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Dj DoIn' BaD

I love mine. It was one of my favorite purchases I have made in a long time. It adds a lot of dynamism to performing but is a lot of fun in the bedroom too (insert dirty pun here).
The mappings available on DJTT are intuitive, with instructions and pictures. More importantly, they are easy to dissect - and that is where the functionality really opens up. You can mimic mappings but apply your own preferences.
I use it for effects and remix decks in Traktor as well as a super responsive drum rack in Ableton.
Its pretty, fun, functional, and only $250. In my mind my MF3D paid for itself within the first couple weeks.

This is a great product. I couldn't really judge it well by seeing videos and pictures,
you really should hold one to get the feel.
I love my midi fighter 3D, it's so amazingly different from other controllers.
Although I'm not a pure controllerist, there's plenty I can do with it.

    - Instant Gratification
    - Deck Transport/Looping/Pitch Control
    - Cue juggling/ Beat Drumming
    - Cue prepping
    - Remix Decks

This is the perfect controller for any DJ activity.

I was very tempted to get a MF3D purely for extra buttons, but as i didnt want to use a USB hub etc, i went down the iPad & TouchOSC route via wifi which i love! but if a wireless MF3D comes out i will be buying that
    Traktor Scratch Pro 2.7, MBP 13", iPad 2 & TouchOSC, Reloop NEON, Pioneer DJM750mk2, Mackie d.2, Pioneer CDJ800 x2, Technics SL1210MK2 x2, NI Audio 6 DJ, Dicers,

I unfortunately do not use mine much, but the build quality is superb. If you're into button-mashing, I would say it's a must-have.
