Default living in the uk and buying from djtechtools

Hey just wondering if anyone can help me with a query?

I think I'm going to buy the traktor s4 and midi fighter 3d bundle in the next few days but wondering what the issues are with power cables, is it just as simple as buying a new cable suitable for the uk or will i require an adapter instead?

    any help would be great!!

    thanks

The Midi Fighter also comes with UK USB cables, don't worry.

Don't forget to take VAT and import duty into account when it comes to the price, plus the Royal Mail will also charge a handling fee. You may know about this already, but if not, you could be in for a nasty shock, haha. Sometimes you'll get away with paying nothing, but it's better to assume that you will be charged.

i was charged when i ordered the vci overlay and knob pack, the customs charges for just them was im sure around the £35 mark which almost probably doubled my spend lol...i would imagine it would be a lot more on something a lot more expensive

Yeah you are going to have to pay VAT and international shipping on a large package. I really doubt it will be monetarily worth let alone a good deal to buy and ship both to the UK it sounds like a pretty foolish idea- maybe just order the midifighter and get the s4 elsewhere and save a lot of money.

No there aren't. USB A-B cables are the same everywhere.

I've used some of the online import duty calculators and it actually seems to be reasonable, especially if the value of the package is recorded at around %75 of what it is actually priced (seems to be the thing done when shipping to europe). I'll research into it more but I think 700-800 is reasonable compared to most prices in the uk, thanks again for the feedback
