    Default Just read new blog post on why bed room DJ's don't get gigs.

    Just read the article on why it's so hard to get gigs. One thing that stuck out in the article was the part where everyone sounds generic. So here I ask the members to listen to one of my current mixes for this month, and judge and give feed back.

    I don' think it's hard to get gigs if you:

    * Network
    * Get a group of buddies splitting the workload concerning promotion et rest
    * Have someone doing promotion for you

    And yes if you are unique if helps with the promotion.

    Also, move out from DJ:intense cities into new markets.

    PS: I listened to your mix, after three minutes I started 'needle jumping', sorry this is pretty much mainstream EDM. My ears glazed over.
