Default Kontrol S4 - Audio Issues

    Hello.

I bought the S4 a few days ago and am having audio issues.

    Windows Vista Business
    Laptop - Acer Travelmate 5520
    Processor : AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-66 2.30GHz
    Memory 4GB

Now I've already read this is a common problem and have tried a number of things to fix it, but it's still not working properly.

When I run the latency program it says -
One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long.
At least one detected problem appears to be network related.

It seems this driver may be an issue - ACPI.sys. But when I go to the driver manager there are numerous ACPI drivers and not just one, so how do I know which one to turn off? And if I go to task manager it doesn't show acpi.sys at all.

And how do I know which drivers are network related?

I've also turned off CPU throttling but that didn't help.

This is very irritating to say the least.

    Your help is appreciated!

If not already done, turn off wireless adaptor for a starter, see if that helps.

If you mean the Wireless LAN then it's already off (usually always).

Sound card in your viao wouldn't come in to question with an s4, as the sound card you would be using is the one in the s4 not your viao

    Yes of course.
The problem is that Traktor uses WAY too much cpu %!

I tried all the usual solutions recommended here and on other forums and it still wasn't enough.

The way I get it to work is after already disabling processes, etc (as mentioned above) I run a free program called Game Booster.

That's the only way I can keep the cpu% down of Traktor for Windows Vista.

    Hope this helps someone.
